Haigh extends popular Service Exchange Programme

16th Apr 2013

Haigh recently reported favourably on the markets adoption of their Lisep Service Exchange.  The programme, in which units are exchanged, provides commonality of spares across sites, with market leading levels of response, turnaround and delivery to site. Originally launched for the Macipump, Haigh’s dedicated Service Exchange programme enabled in excess of 250 units to be deployed in the field within the first 12 months at no more cost to the customer than a typical call-out and unit replacement. The programme, in which units are swapped out, provides a target 24hr response with single supply or supply and install options.

David Freeman, Wastewater Manager said “Following the success of the Macipump Service Exchange, the development of the Lisep Service Exchange has been a natural next step. Creating a proposition, where the benefits are clear and the costs are manageable is key to our continued partnership with the ater PLC's. The Service Exchange concept proved itself with the Macipump so we knew that this was a viable programme to extend across our range.

Mark Ward, Haigh Service Manager comments "A key benefit of the new Lisep Service Exchange programme is that it enables customers who have very old Lisep installations, some in excess of 15 years, to be able to simply change out the mechanical assembly. This has proved a popular and cost effective option, further extending the life of their existing assets."
