Investment for growth

03rd Dec 2012

Dedicated to continuous improvement and with a clear eye on international expansion, Herefordshire based Haigh Engineering has invested in new equipment with the support of Lloyds TSB Commercial and Lloyds TSB Commercial Finance.

The new machinery will enhance Haigh's production capabilities and enable the production of more complex manufacturing projects in the future. This investment will also further support the company’s plans to increase exports into European and South Africa markets, in addition to its core overseas markets of North America and Australia.

Luke Shepherd, Director at Haigh Engineering, said: “We are always looking to future proof our business and ensure that we can remain competitive for years to come. The purchase of these new tools provides us with a springboard to take on more complex projects as we move forward and reinforce our position as experts in our fields."

“Lloyds TSB Commercial has been a constant support over recent years, as we have grown the company and looked to new markets. This partnership allows us to keep close control of our cash-flow through the initial outlay for the new equipment.”

Graham Reed, Relationship Director for Lloyds TSB Commercial, said: “Haigh Engineering is a great example of a business that is constantly looking for avenues of new growth, by investing in new machinery and targeting new foreign markets. This approach stands the firm in good stead for future expansion."

David Brown, Manufacturing Manager stated "This brings a real step change to our production capabilities and should start to yield a substantial return on both our output and the scope of projects that we can take on in the short to medium term".
